Our Holiday Rambler Scepter

About Us

Let me introduce myself. My name is Carolyn, and my DH’s name is Richard. We’ve been full-time RVing for a little over a year now, and Richard suggested that we create a travel blog, to show everyone what we’ve been doing and what adventures we’ve been having.

We are active on iRV2 and RVillage, known on both as rcg604. Sometimes it’s me posting, but most of the time it is Richard. We find the former of the forums (iRV2) to be the most informative and the later (RVillage) to be the most fun.

Richard and I are web designers (our company is Reflections Consulting Group), so this lifestyle works well for us as we can work anywhere, and get out and find clients wherever we go. This blog is a work in progress and a hobby for me. So don’t be surprised if it changes from time to time as I improve it and explore new ways to display information.

We drive a forty-foot Holiday Rambler Scepter, and tow a Nissan XTerra. The Scepter is a diesel, so we barely notice that the toad is there. Richard got his Non-Commercial CDL Class B license this year, so at the moment, he does all the driving. I got my learners permit this year as well, so I’ve got a year to learn how to drive this monster.

We have a sweet little Puggle named Chloe who delights us everyday. For those who aren’t familiar with the breed, a Puggle is a mix of a Pug and a Beagle. She’s five years old, a rescue, and is the perfect size for full-timing. We’re lucky that she is well house trained, and (fingers crossed) there’s been no “accidents” so far.

So that’s our little crew. We’re hoping to see this great country of ours over the next few years and have a blast doing it. I can’t wait to share our explorations with you all!

Safe and Happy Travels!
